Andrew Parrott conducts music by Jean-Baptiste Lully, court composer to Louis XIV. Elegant and glamorous music for New York’s glittering new music room, this concert features haute-contre (high tenor) Marc Molomot and celebrates all things French, including courtly trumpet fanfares, a musette and an invitation à la danse.

Imperial Vienna
Devised by historic brass specialist Greg Ingles, this program delves into the rich treasury of 17th-century Viennese music for court and chapel. Works of Biber, Weichlein, Rittler, Vejvanovsky and Schmelzer with players of The Collegium including Robert Mealy (violin), Kris Ingles (trumpet), Greg Ingles (sackbut) and Eric Milnes (organ).

Members of The Collegium celebrate the wide, wide world of music with The Ella Baker Players, a band of accomplished student performers from our work in public school classrooms. Acclaimed recorder player and educator Nina Stern directs a rare collaboration of adult and student performers in an ensemble of recorders, violin, Arabic lute, hand drums and other percussion performing music from classical and folk traditions around the globe.
